This is an industry solution to the problems caused by inaccurate machines and keys cut by clerks, robots, and other people doing their best in convenience locations.

Professional Qualified locksmiths on the other hand have seen it all, fixed it all, and have proven their skills through training and testing over many years. It is only these people that have access to the LOK4 system components and key blanks.

Coded Keys to factory specifications cut onto hard wearing Nickel Silver will prolong the life of your lock and prevent wear. Close tolerance locks are also harder to pick and this provides increased security for Customers.

You do not have to change all your locks, as we can introduce this into any existing lockwood 4 compatible system, without changing the locks. As long as the locks have been loaded to factory standards.

Please note that this is not a restricted key system but more a better way of providing high quality factory specification keys which will be available from all participating locksmiths.

Currenty there are 3 locksmiths in Ballarat (as at 21/11/2012)  where you can go to have your keys cut accurately  for your LOK4 system.

Regardless of which of those locksmiths installed the system, has their name on key(s) or made the last changes to it or any of the locks.

Exit Door Requirements

Strong installations for exit doors.

The latch is behind the door, and is therefore harder to attack from outside.

This is a good example of a very secure deadlock that always allows escape witha single downward action.
